Privacy Policy

VeterUSA is a directory of veterinary clinics and emergency animal hospitals. We keep data collection close to zero — the site works without accounts, tracking cookies, or sign-ups of any kind.

What we collect

• If you email us (about a badge, a job posting, or a correction): your email address and whatever you write. Used only to answer you and do the thing you asked for.
• If you pay for a listing: payment is handled entirely by PayPal. We never see or store card details — PayPal sends us only a confirmation and your contact email.
• Page-view counts: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers. It tells us "how many visits" not "who visited."
• Server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability. We don’t build profiles from them.
• Clinic information: listings are compiled from public sources — business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours, public review counts. That’s business information, and clinics can correct or remove it any time (see Corrections).

What we don’t do

• No accounts, no newsletters you didn’t ask for, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies.
• We never sell, rent, or trade personal information, to anyone, for any price.
• The emergency triage tool runs entirely on your device — symptoms you enter never reach our servers. Location is used once, in your browser, to find nearby clinics; we don’t store it.

Your rights

Whether you’re covered by Canada’s PIPEDA, BC’s PIPA, California’s CCPA/CPRA, or another privacy law, the answer is the same: email [email protected] and ask. We’ll show you what we hold about you (almost always: nothing), correct it, or delete it — within 30 days.

Changes

Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless — it does not track you across sites, uses no cookies, and collects no personal identifiers. It counts page views only.
