By using VeterUSA you agree to these terms. They’re written to be read, so please actually read them.

What VeterUSA is

A directory of veterinary clinics and emergency animal hospitals in the United States, plus free educational tools and guides. Listing information — hours, phone numbers, 24/7 status, ratings — comes from public sources and our own research, and it can change without us knowing. Always call ahead before driving anywhere, especially at 2 AM.

What VeterUSA is not

• Not veterinary advice. Nothing on this site — including the emergency triage tool, the toxicity calculators, and the guides — is medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for a veterinarian. The triage tool offers general guidance only. In a real emergency, call an emergency vet or a poison line (ASPCA Poison Control 888-426-4435; Pet Poison Helpline 855-764-7661).
• Not a guarantee. We work hard to mark true 24/7 hospitals correctly, but we can’t guarantee any clinic is open, staffed, or taking patients at any moment. We’re not liable for outcomes that follow from listing information being out of date.
• Not affiliated with listed clinics unless a listing explicitly says so. Names and trademarks belong to their owners.

The Top Rated badge

Badges are calculated from public review data (at least 4.5 stars across at least 50 reviews, recalculated annually). Badges can’t be bought. Clinics that qualify may display the badge free of charge; we may retire or redesign the program in the future, and we’ll remove badges from clinics that close, drop below the bar at recalculation, or misuse the mark (for example, implying we endorse specific medical claims).

Paid services

We sell clearly-labeled job postings and featured placement. Payment is by PayPal invoice. What you’re buying is placement and time — never ratings, rankings, badges, reviews, or “verified” status. Paid placements are labeled as paid. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Don’t scrape the site at scale, don’t misrepresent yourself as a clinic you don’t own, and don’t use the directory to spam clinics. We can block access for abuse.

Liability & governing law

The site is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent the law allows, VeterUSA and its operator are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site. These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. Contact: [email protected].
